Full disclosure: the picture above is of Destin Beach, the video of Pensacola Beach, just an hour West. While I was in Destin a few weeks ago, the tar balls were just hitting the beaches of Pensacola. Two weeks later, the tar balls arrived in Destin. So. Will Destin's beaches look like the "after" video in as little as two weeks? As much as my heart doesn't want to believe it, reality is setting in.
